The Rundlett Middle School field hockey A team (pictured right) finished the season tying Winnisquam Middle School in the tournament championship game. RMS defeated Franklin (2-0) and tied Kearsarge (1-1) in other tournament games. Andie Reed and Maddi Miles played well on defense and Felicity Weldon played well in goal in the championship game. Maddie Raymond and Jordan Cromwell scored against Franklin and Maria Armaganian scored against Kearsarge. Miles, Amy Cohen and Libby Segal added assists.
Brianna Langdon, Carina Keirstead and Alexis Young were the top finishers for the Henniker Community School girls’ cross country team at the Division III Middle School State Championship. In the boys’ championship race, Elijah Day, Daniel Hilyard and Alex Keirstead were the top Henniker finishers.
The Rundlett Middle School boys’ A soccer team participated in the Keene Middle School Invitational Tournament. In the preliminary round RMS tied Mount Anthony, lost to Milford (1-0) and beat Keene (3-1), but did not have enough points to advance to the championship round. Nic Galatis, Tomek Hill, and Byron Bobrow each scored in the RMS effort. Max Grant, Augustine Twite, Joe Ala, Cameron Detwiller and Salvador Aubin played well throughout the tournament. Jonah Wachter made some key saves in net.
The Rundlett girls’ A cross country team team took second in the State Championship. Leading the pack was Morgane Orcutt finished in fifth place overall out of over 100 runners. Avery Fitcher (12th), Hannah Willette (21st), Katherine Kennedy (25th), Alexis Christie (48th), Abby Goulas (50th) and Julie Deacon (68th) also ran well for Rundlett.
The Rundlett boys’ A cross country team took third in the State Championship. Eben Bragg finished fifth and Trey Fortier came in 10th overall. They were followed by Eaton Tarbell (27th), Ryan Doherty (33rd), Sam Nichol (46th), Samuel Hilts (54th) and Evan Cote (60th).
The Rundlett cross country team had several strong performances in the non-scoring races. In the boys’ 8th grade race, Aiden Pope took 10th. In the 7th grade boys’ and girls’ races Sarah Jenness took eighth, Matthew Lavoie took sixth and Zach Hooper took eighth. In the girls 6th grade race Sarah Potter took seventh and Caroline Quirk finished ninth. In the 6th grade boys’ race Joey Tarbell finished third overall followed by Jacob Ryder in fourth and Read Merrill in fifth.
The John Stark JV girls’ soccer team ended its season with an 8-0 victory over Trinity. Sam Porter, Becca McLaughlin, Q Willard, Makayla Cuturier, Rachael Keon, Autumn Nelson and Hannah Bishop (two) scored for John Stark.
The St. Paul’s School varsity boys’ soccer team defeated St. George’s, 3-2. Chavez Embeki scored in the first half and Josh Morency had two in the second to seal the victory. Reese Swedberg played well in net.
The St. Paul’s varsity field hockey team beat St. George’s, 3-0. Finley Frechette (goal, assist), Gillis Frechette (two assists), Josie Varney (goal) and Eliza Farriss (goal) led the Big Red.
The St. Paul’s JV girls’ cross country team defeated Thayer (22-38), but fell to Milton (26-29) and Windsor (15-50) in a quad-meet. Julia Livingston (10th, 24:31), Clio Gates (13th, 25:15), Rasika Iyer (14th, 25:16) and Sally Lee (16th, 25:32) 16th led the Big Red.

The St. Paul’s varsity volleyball team beat Lawrence Academy, 3-0.
The St. Paul’s varsity girls’ soccer team lost to St. George’s, 4-2.
The St. Paul’s varsity boys’ cross country team defeated Milton (24-32), Thayer (22-33) and Belmont Hill (26-29) in a quad-meet. Santi Saravia and Chapin Bassi led the team with a one-two finish in 17:09 and 17:16. Ben Spiro (17:54) and Ben Leach (17:56) also ran well for St. Paul’s.
The St. Paul’s JV boys’ cross country team beat Thayer (16-43), but lost to Milton (25-31) and Belmont Hill (15-50). Luke Dieterle ran well for St. Paul’s finishing ninth overall in a time of 19:55.
The Tilton varsity girls’ soccer team fell to Holderness, 5-0.
The Tilton varsity field hockey team defeated Kimball Union, 4-0.
The Tilton varsity boys’ soccer team fell to Kimball Union, 4-1. Grayson Goulet scored the lone goal for Tilton.
The Tilton JV boys’ soccer team tied Kimball Union, 2-2. Tae Lee (goal, assist), Kyle McElhaney (goal) and Drew Frost (10 saves) led Tilton.
The New Hampton School football team defeated Holderness, 53-12.
Northwood’s Julia Cormier, a freshman on the Franklin Pierce women’s cross country team, was the top finisher for the Ravens at the Northeast-10 Championships. Cormier finished the 6k course in a time of 24:05.7. Franklin Pierce finished 10th out of 15 teams.
Bow’s Naomi Kramer, a junior on the Plymouth State women’s soccer team, scored a goal in a 4-0 victory over Rhode Island College.
Concord’s BJ Smith, a senior on the Franklin Pierce men’s cross country team, was the third fastest Raven to cross the finish line at the Northeast-10 Championships. Franklin Pierce finished fourth out of 15 teams. Smith finished 15th overall in 25:25.1
A pair of local athletes on the NHTI women’s soccer team were named to the Yankee Small College Conference South All-Conference team. Penacook’s Danielle Wiley (defender) and Laconia’s Savannah Bastis (goalkeeper) were named to the All-Conference team while forward Shannon Hart of Swanzey was named YSCC Player of the Year. The Lynx advanced to the YSCC finals thanks to goals from Wiley, Northwood’s Jelasa Nelson and Pittsfield’s Stefani Gauthier in a 9-0 victory over UMaine-Machias in the semifinals.
Dunbarton’s Cody Murphy, a sophomore on the Bentley men’s cross country team, was the fifth fastest runner for the Falcons in the Northeast-10 Champions. Murphy was 31st overall in 26:35. Bentley finished third.
