BOW Start to plan date night

CHICHESTER Christmas comes early

WARNER Celebrate winter

Warnerโ€™s Winter Wonderland Annual Event will be Dec. 3. Mark your calendars for a small town celebration with caroling, food, artists and crafts, storytelling, Santa and more. At MainStreet BookEnd, the Gear-Up Homeschoolers will be caroling at 11:30 a.m. followed by Efner Tudor Holmes reading The Christmas Cat. There will be readings of The Night Before Christmas all day by the wood stove. Artist Nan McCarthy and Gary Young will share their art.

Support the Simonds PTO with its annual pie sale on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at MainStreet BookEnds.

Alzheimerโ€™s Cafe will be Dec. 8 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the N.H. Telephone Museum. Check out its Facebook page.

Simonds Elementary School will be on break from Wednesday to Friday.

Family lunch will be Dec. 7 from 12:15 to 1 p.m. at the school

The PTO will meet Dec. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the school.

WEARE Donate toys for kids

The John Stark Regional High School Art Club is organizing a toy drive for the seventh year in support of Henniker and Weare. Last year, this drive raised over $1,500 in donations that were shared with families in need in our two towns. The toy drive will run from Dec. 1 to 16. New, unwrapped toys, books, art supplies, games and gift cards can be dropped off at the main office during school hours. Parent/teacher conferences will be held Monday from 3 to 9 p.m. For the third year, Tri-M students and parents will be serving a pasta dinner in the cafe during parent-teacher conferences. The proceeds from this event will go to fund the Hill-Stark band/choral trip next spring. The menu is pasta with meat or meatless marinara, rolls, butter, garden salad and various desserts, and beverages. The cost is $5 per person

Winter Parent/Athlete Night will be Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. in the gym.

All schools in the Weare School District are closed Wednesday to Friday for Thanksgiving.

There is no school at Weare Middle School on Wednesday; it is Parent/Teacher Conference Day.

Come to the Childrenโ€™s Christmas Party on Dec. 4 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Weare Town Hall. The party is sponsored by the Weare Historical Society and the Friends of the Weare Public Library. Enjoy guitar music, storytelling, sing-a-long, Santa, refreshments and tree lighting.

WEBSTER Tour Hy-Mar house

Webster Free Public Library will close at 4 p.m. Wednesday to get ready for Thanksgiving Day.

The Webster Historical Society will be open on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the old Hy-Mmar Fire House. It is located on Route 127 next to the Wooden Bowl Store. Marjorie Blanchette will be glad to give you a tour of the museum and possibly the Old Meeting House.

Webster Elementary Schoolโ€™s drama club will meet Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at the school.

Thanksgiving break at the school will be Wednesday to Friday.
