Several Concord-area girls will perform in The Nutcracker, opening tomorrow, at the Palace Theatre in Manchester.
They will dance with the Southern New Hampshire Dance Theatre’s performing company.
Rachel Burkett, sisters Caroline and Jennifer White, Victoria Chen and Mattison Howard will dance in the classic Christmastime ballet.
Rachel, 11, of Bow will perform as a party girl and candy cane dancer in this year’s production. She’s danced with the group for the past four years.
Caroline, 12, of Hopkinton will be a party girl, soldier and candy cane dancer.
Jennifer, 15, of Hopkinton will be a mouse in the battle scene and a candy cane dancer.
Victoria, 14, of Concord will be part of the Arabian ensemble, a maid and a mouse.
Mattison, 13, of Concord will be a soldier, party girl and candy cane dancer.
Shows will be held Friday at 7:30; Saturday at 11 a.m., 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday at 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Tickets range from $25 to $45 and can be purchased at palacetheatre.org.
