Come experience the amazing talent of the Center for the Arts student scholarship award recipients on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Whipple Hall, on the corner of Main Street and Seamans Road.

Each year Center for the Arts recognizes and awards scholarships to area students who would like to pursue any form of artistic opportunity.

the 2016 recipients who will perform include Katelyn Croft of Newbury, harpist and pianist; Jorgie Ingram of Warner, ballet dancer; and Jadin Eve Achambeault of Newport, ballroom dancer.

Brooke Solomon, a 2015 CFA scholarship recipient, will emcee the evening. A reception will follow the performances. All First Friday events are free and open to the public.
