Banks Chevrolet defeated Rowley Agency, 6-2, to advance to the Majors 70’ championship for the third straight year. Rowley got a two-run home run from Jordan Dustin. Dylan Miles pitched six innings, striking out six and allowing three hits, to earn the win. Miles also went 2-for-3 with an RBI. AJ Fennelly hit two home runs and had four RBI. Tyler Fennelly and Griffin Norwalt also had hits for Banks.
Aable Restaurant Equipment won the Concord Little League AAA Championship, defeating Concord Family Vision in the finals. Team members are: Michael Barry, Cullen Burke, Cam Burbank, Finley Chapman, Rhys Craigue, Sami Franzi, Ian Gomez, Zachery Ingram, Weston Koerber, Gad Murwanashya, Austin Proulx and Nolan Walsh. Anneke Pulkkinen, a rising junior on the St. Paul’s School girls’ lacrosse team, will compete for the German U19 national team at the Guildford, U.K. World Cup Lacrosse Festival. The festival is part of the FIL Women’s Lacrosse World Cup. The German team will compete on July 17-21.
