The top of the leaderboard is full of familiar names after the first day of the New Hampshire State Amateur Golf Championship. Two-time champion Craig Steckowych and James Pleat, the 2015 NHGA Stroke Play champ, both shot a 4-under 69 on Monday to lead the field of 132 at Bretwood Golf Course in Keene. John Clancy (Concord Country Club) is alone in third place at 2-under and Matt Paradis, the 2016 runner-up who also plays out of Concord, is at 1-under with four other golfers, including Bow’s Josh LaCasse. Ridgewood Country Club and Belmont boys’ basketball Coach Jim Cilley finished the first round at even par and is tied with four others for 11th. Pleat is scheduled to tee off at 8:50 a.m. this morning for the second round
