The Congregational-Christian Church of Franklin at 25 S. Main St., will hold its annual Attic Treasures Yard Sale on Aug. 5, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The sale will take place inside at Thompson Hall. Plan to stop by Franklinโs oldest church (1820) where Daniel Webster attended service to find bargains by the bundle. Heirlooms, collectibles, kitchenware, holidays, books, camping and a Portland Cutter sleigh with shafts and eagle heads will be for sale. Hope to see you there.
Concordโs National Night Out event will be held Aug. 1 in Rollins Park, 116 Broadway St., from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Admission and events are free! All foods and refreshments are $1 each. Tickets for food and refreshments can be purchased at the gazebo in the park during the event. There will be free shuttle service from Rundlett Middle School, 144 South St., to the event.
