A local photography studio sustained heavy damage Tuesday evening in a fire that required attention from all of the city’s on-duty resources, according to a Concord Fire Department press release.
No injuries were reported as a result of the blaze, which was located at 103 Loudon Road in a 1½ story garage separated from the main living area. The residence – an 1847 farm house – is home to Bogacz Photography Studio founded by homeowner Mark Bogacz, according to the business’s website. Mark and wife Christine purchased the home in 1996, the website says.
Concord fire personnel were dispatched to the scene at 7:09 p.m., arriving four minutes later to find heavy smoke stemming from the structure which is connected to a two-story barn, according to the release. Firefighters encountered heavy fire on the first floor that rapidly spread to the second floor.
The main body of the fire was knocked down quickly, but firefighters remained on scene for some time locating hotspots in hidden spaces within the structure, according to the release. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Units from Boscawen, Bow, Manchester, Allenstown and Penacook covered Concord stations during the fire, officials said.
