Noting that James Woods almost always is “the villain” in his theatrical works, I was entertained by his tweet in the Aug. 5 Monitor Forum. Seemed par for his “character.”
“I’ve never witnessed such hatred . . .” (Has Woods ever listened to President Trump’s vitriol?),“. . . for a man who is willing to work for free . . .” (But ohhh! The benefits! Seven months on the job: 17-day vacation, 40 personal days, building upon his personal financial empire via Oval Office, megaphone the size of a 747 for his narcissistic ego), “. . . to make his country a better place.” (“Let Obamacare implode,” more misogynistic statements/actions than I have room for listing here, bolster murderous Vladimir Putin and other demagogic dictators, lack of respect for the press – unless reporter/commentator extols his self admiration – pull out of/lie about Paris climate accord, deport Hispanics brought here as children, reinstate nepotism in White House to nth degree, sow derision in his own party, allow Arctic drilling, reverse Internet neutrality, defund Planned Parenthood, diminish public education, reverse clean air/water policies).
Furthermore, he is a crude and rude role model.
Woods’s tweet ends: “It is pathological.” He must be referring to Donald Trump’s lying.
