Colby-Sawyer College will host its 12th annual 5K Dash and Stroll on Saturday. Registration for this free, noncompetitive walk and run will be held at the Kelsey Athletic Campus soccer field at 9:30 a.m. Start time for runners, walkers and leashed dogs is 10 a.m. This year’s event will take place for the first time at the college’s new Kelsey Athletic Campus Woods Trail. Designed by students, the trail was funded by a gift from Maryann Walling Morris in support of the cross-country program and the community. Portions of the trail may be under construction. Volunteers will assist with parking in Lot K adjacent to Seamans Road. Following the event, fruit, water and granola bars will be available.
