We would like to offer three reasons why Tom Croteau deserves your vote.
First, Tom has a passion for our schools. We have known Tom for more than 15 years and whenever our paths crossed we were amazed at his involvement with the community. Tom has held numerous leadership positions, including coaching youth sports and serving on the board and acting as president of N.H. Partners for N.H. Education. Serving on the school board should not be someone’s first foray into school involvement, and Tom is a candidate whose years of experience and proven passion for service properly prepare him for being an effective board member.
Second, Tom has the education and training to understand school finances. He has attended nearly every meeting and subcommittee of the Concord School Board. Tom fully understands district financial documents and can ask the pertinent questions. As taxpayers, we need financially savvy people on the board who can ensure that the district’s finite resources are directed to the people and programs that produce the best results for our students.
Third, Tom has the respect of his peers. Tom is the current school board secretary and he would not have been chosen to serve in that position by his fellow board members if they did not have confidence in his dedication and skills.
Experienced, passionate, qualified, respected. These are the reasons we encourage you to get out on Nov. 7 and cast your critically important vote for Tom Croteau.
