Concord’s annual fall leaf collection will begin Oct. 30 through Dec. 8, weather permitting. Concord and Penacook residents participating must rake their leaves (un-bagged) to the curb for crews to pick up. Branches and brush must be removed from piles. Residents should have piles ready by the start of program so as not to miss collection. Be prepared for crews to only come once. Visit concordnh.gov/leafcollection for more information.
Women in Military Service for America, a nonprofit organization that supports the National Women’s Memorial at Arlington National Cemetery, will mark the 20th anniversary of the memorial’s opening and honor the female residents of the N.H.
