Christopher and Catharine Dornin recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Nov. 24, 1967, in Oberlin, Ohio.
The couple celebrated with a renewal of vows ceremony at St. Paul’s Church in Concord at 5 p.m. – the time of their original marriage – Nov. 24, 2017, with the Rev. Kate Atkinson officiating.
Mrs. Dornin wore her original wedding gown.
The couples five children, three grandchildren and friends and family members attended the service and reception at the Common Man Restaurant.
Mrs. Dornin taught piano for five decades and recently retired from the Concord Community Music School and St. Paul’s School.
Mr. Dornin was a journalist for many years and retired as State House reporter in 2010.
The couple resides in Concord.
