The capital area and Lakes Region will be well represented at the annual CHaD East-West High School All-Star football game this summer.

Concord High coach Eric Brown will take over for Jim Schubert as head coach of the West team, while Laconia coach Craig Kozens will lead the East for a fourth summer.

The annual summer event highlights some of the state’s best high school football players on the field while charging them to raise money off the field for Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD).

Eighty-six players from across the state have been selected, including Gavin Moody (Concord), Jack Corriveau (Bow), Nolan Filteau (Bow), Zach Handy (John Stark) and Aidan Horne (Hopkinton) on West. Four players from Laconia will join their coach on East: Drew Muzzey, Bradley Weeks, Riley Roy and Ben Beliveau.

The game is scheduled for June 30 at Wildcat Stadium in Durham.
