PENACOOK Weekly farmers market

The Riverhill Grange hosts a farmers market every Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at 32 Horsehill Road, Penacook.

The Penacook Historical Society will meet Wednesday at the Rolfe House, 11 Penacook St. A potluck supper begins at 6 p.m., followed by the program at 7 p.m. This month’s program, Local History Is The Best History, will be presented by Mike Rounds with a video report from the sites of important local historical events, a guided tour without the hike to difficult locations. EAST SIDE Retired teachers to meet

The Central N.H. Storytellers will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Community Room at Horseshoe Pond Place. All tellers and listeners are welcome to attend.

Discovering Magic will be presented on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Hatbox Theatre at the Steeplegate Mall. The Community Players production of Kid Cult Cosmology will continue through April 15. Applications are now being accepted for the 2018 Zonta International Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship are now available through the Zonta Club of Concord. The Concord Public Library is offering Paws for Pages, a program designed to help kids improve their reading and communication skills on Wednesday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Mr. T is a Yorkshire terrier, Millie is a Labradoodle, and Gypsy the Greyhound. The dogs are certified through Therapy Dogs International, and one will be on-hand with his or her owner during this time.
