Madeleine Beaujouan, a Concord High School senior, was awarded the $2,500 Swymer Family Scholarship, given to a student who has overcome hardship in order to excel in academics and athletics. She accepted the award at a recent Fisher Cats game.

Madison P. Sorel has been inducted into St. Lawrence University’s Chi Alpha Sigma honorary society for being an outstanding college student-athlete, who excels in the classroom, in their sport, and in the community. Sorel is a member of the Class of 2019 and is majoring in government. Sorel attended Hopkinton High School. Sorel is a member of the men’s rowing team at St. Lawrence in Canton, N.Y.
