A successful legislator of many years told me he sends a letter to his district constituents that says, “I won’t call you at dinner time, I won’t knock on your door on Sunday morning, so just vote.” It’s a great idea, but we have reached out in a bit more active way.

During this election season, we have met many of our Bradford and Henniker neighbors at post offices, knocking on doors, at transfer stations, and at political and social gatherings in both towns. We have been received with grace and kindness by so many of you, a positive and rewarding experience for us.

We seek your vote for state representatives in Merrimack District 6, the towns of Bradford and Henniker.

As a small-business owner and former three-term selectman, Rod Pimentel has been actively engaged in Henniker town matters for more than 40 years. Incumbent Beth Rodd has lived in Bradford for more than 30 years, serving on multiple town committees and spending five terms in the State House as a member of the Criminal Justice Committee. Our combined public service and experience will allow us to continue serving you well.

Please cast your vote for us on Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the Bradford Community Center from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. or at the Henniker Community School from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Thank you for your welcoming spirit and interest in this election. We look forward to representing you.

Rep. BETH RODD
