Kristen Brown and James Hamlin were married Aug. 25 at Keswick Vineyards in Charlottesville, Va. Kevin Dadoly, uncle of the bride, officiated the double-ring ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father and mother.

Meghan Melvin of Weymouth, Mass., sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jill Brown of Norwell, Mass., sister-in-law of the bride; Shannon Hamlin of Charlotte, N.C., sister-in-law of the groom; Jodie Catalano of Hartford, Conn.; Tiffany Elliott of Barnstead; Katie O’Dougherty of Deerfield; and Amber Cline of Tampa, Fla.

Nick Bennett of Alexandria, Va., was the best man. Groomsmen were Daniel Hamlin of Charlotte, N.C., brother of the groom; Joseph Hamlin of Jacksonville, Fla., brother of the groom; Nathan Brown of Norwell, Mass., brother of the bride; Kyle Melvin of Weymouth, Mass., brother-in-law of the bride; Justen Maley of Woodbridge, Va.; Colin Peevy of Alexandria, Va.; and Mark Weaver of Gainesville, Va.

Gavin Brown of Norwell, Mass., nephew of the bride, and Harrison Hamlin of Charlotte, N.C., nephew of the groom, were ring bearers.

Emily Brown of Norwell, Mass., niece of the bride, was a flower girl.

The bride, daughter of Scott and Arlene Brown of Pittsfield, earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Delaware and a master’s in nursing from George Mason University. She is a family nurse practitioner at Virginia Hospital Center’s emergency department.

The groom, son of Daniel Hamlin of Alexandria, Va., works at E.M. Logan’s as an HVAC technician specialist in Alexandria, Va.

The couple took a honeymoon to Greece and lives in Alexandria, Va.
