■Concord Grange No. 322 will meet Jan. 14 at 6 30 p.m., weather permitting, at the IBEW Hall, 48 Airport Road. The Grange will vote on two applications for membership, discuss the dictionary project, and audit the books. ■The Concord Hospital’s Center for Health Promotion is offering a one-day course titled “Expectations: Preparing for your first Birth” on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Educators will guide expecting parents through the process of labor and birth, methods for relaxation, comfort measures, birthing positions, postpartum, welcoming your baby, feeding your newborn, comforting your baby and transitioning into parenthood. ■The New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority will be conducting an application writing workshop for nonprofit organizations interested in applying for grant funds to support Recovery Friendly Workplace programming. On behalf of the State, CDFA has been allocated a one-time appropriation to administer grant funds to nonprofit organizations delivering recovery friendly workplace programs. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations that deliver (or intend to deliver within the grant period) recovery friendly workplace programs.
