The Belknap County Conservation District announced registration is now open for a Community Stream Workshop on Jan. 30 at the Meredith Community Center and on Feb. 6 in Tilton at the Franklin Bank Learning Center. These Community Workshops focus on flood resiliency and aquatic habitat and are oriented to community decision makers, landowners and those interested in conservation. The Conservation District is hosting these free workshops in partnership with Trout Unlimited and N.H. Fish and Game through a N.H. Charitable Foundation grant and assistance from the Natural Resource Conservation Service. Both workshops are from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and cover the same topics except for discussion of area streams at the end of each workshop. The snow date for the workshops is Feb. 13 at the Meredith Community Center.
