Residents in Henniker will have an opportunity to learn about the future of the Tucker Free Library during an information session at the library on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

The library trustees will share preliminary results from a feasibility study regarding future uses and needs of the building.

Last March, Henniker voters approved spending money on a feasibility study to determine how best to replace an old handicap access lift in the library and provide better accessibility throughout the building, as well as the installation of ADA-compliant bathrooms.

The study also includes ideas on how to use the library’s unfinished attic, which is currently the only open space in the building.

Last fall, the trustees hired SMP Architecture to do the feasibility study. Representatives from SMP will attend the Thursday meeting to meet community members and answer questions.
