Byron Champlin is running for the at-large city council seat. Byron has been an outstanding city councilor for Ward 4 for five years. He has been an integral member of so many community committees it would take a full page to list them. He is genuinely interested in every aspect of our city, including economic growth, housing, the arts and education.
Byronโs daughters attended Walker School when I was the principal of the school. Byron and his wife were active and involved parents and very supportive of the Walker community. Through his position at Lincoln Financial he facilitated the formation of the Concord Trust. The Concord Trust has given over $200,000 to innovative Concord teachers over the past 15 years.
Byron was Concord Business Leader of the Year in 2009 and has served as chairman of the board of the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce and the Capitol Center for the Arts. I know very few people who have given so much to our community.
I encourage you to vote for Byron Champlin so he can continue his great work in the Concord community.
Please vote on Tuesday, March 5.
