This month’s selection is Never Caught, by Erica Armstrong Dunbar, the true story of George and Martha Washington’s relentless pursuit of their runaway slave, who lived in Portsmouth. Main St., join novelist Dana Biscotti Myskowski and Dr. Lynn Durand of Family Tree Health Care in Concord as the two discuss the impacts, testing, and treatment of Lyme Disease and other tick-born diseases in New Hampshire and in Myskowski’s own life, and how it led her to write I Cannot Play With You.

■Go to the Hatbox Theatre in the Mall not just for great plays but for great art. R.P. Hale is a fifth-generation wood engraver and letterpress printmaker, using tools and equipment handed down to him in the family. He uses an 1862 iron hand-press when printing his engravings. His business name, “La Imprenta Azteca,” is a family business name dating to 1872. Sarah May Schultz of Epsom is his apprentice in printmaking and will have pieces in the show. The gallery is open for viewing to non-ticket holders prior to performances (5:45 to 6:30 p.m. evenings; 12:15 to 1 p.m. matinees) and for ticket holders until showtimes and during intermissions. Go to Red River Theatres’ Exhibition on Screen: Young Picasso on Sunday at 1 p.m. Pablo Picasso is one of the greatest artists of all time – and right up until his death in 1973 he was the most prolific of artists. Many films have dealt with these later years – the art, the affairs and the wide circle of friends. But where did this all begin? What made Picasso in the first place? Three cities play a key role: Malaga, Barcelona and Paris. Young Picasso visits each and explores their influence on Picasso, focusing on specific artworks from these early years.
