One person was killed and two others seriously injured in a collision on Route 106 in Loudon on Sunday, police said. Law enforcement have not yet released the names of anyone involved.
Loudon Police responded to an area just north of Loudon Ridge Road at around 3 p.m., according to a press release. The accident involved two cars, an SUV and a small four-door sedan, police said.
All three injured individuals were transported to area hospitals, where one person later died, police said.
Route 106 was closed for seven and a half hours on Sunday. The cause of the accident is still under investigation, police said.
The Belknap County Reconstruction Team and the Canterbury, Gilmanton and Belmont police departments all assisted at the scene.
