■The Daughters of the American Revolution will be holding its Annual Vespers Service at 4 p.m. today at the Old Allenstown Meeting House, 150 Deerfield Road. Light refreshments will be served after.
■Summer Concert at the Town Hall is from 4 to 6 p.m. today with two local rock bands, “Crazy Steve” and “Nobody.” The concert is free and open to the public. The fire department will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, soft drinks and other snacks. Parking is on the street, at town hall or at the Dupont school next door. ■The Allenstown Historical Society will meet at 6 p.m. Aug. 7 at the Suncook Business Parko n Lavoie Drive. Meetings are public.
■Armand R. Dupont Middle School is looking for a crossing guard for the 2019-20 school year for in front of the church on Main Street. Hours are from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. The pay is $15 a hour. The district is willing to send the individual to training in August or work with the Allenstown Police Department to make sure that the person feels confident. ■Fellow Epsom gardeners, when you are collecting your produce and need to get rid of extra, please think of the Epsom Food Pantry. The staff would love the fresh produce. It is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
