WE LIVE IN STRESSFUL TIMES, but probably no more stressful than any other time in human history. After all, survival has never really been a cakewalk. It seems that every advancement that eliminates one cause of stress creates a new one. To make matters worse, we know that stress is really bad for our health – and that knowledge just stresses us out even more. With our question of the week, we’re hoping to spur something of a collective deep breath. Here’s what we want to know: What is the most effective way you have discovered of reducing stress in your life? Email your response by noon on Tuesday, Aug. 13, to letters@cmonitor.com. Please keep it between 150 and 400 words, and include an address and phone number for verification. We’ll run a selection in next Thursday’s Forum section.
