Highlights: The Pride had strong offensive pressure, but could not execute in the circle. Sanborn scored on a scrum in the middle of the circle with 9:38 left to go in the first half and again 45 seconds into the second half. Swislosky scored a minute later after she eliminated a defender outside the circle and ripped a shot from the top of the circle. Despite a penalty stroke and out numbering Sanborn with offensive corners, 14-2, MV still could not capitalize.
