Highlights: Dickson scored an unassisted goal in the 16th minute, but the Hawks couldn’t put anything else on the scoreboard until West scored in the 66th minute and Heck scored in the 68th, despite numerous chances.
Coach’s quote: “Fourteen offsides calls against the Hawks in the first half alone (before we stopped counting) made for a very ugly and frustrating game to watch. Our defense stood tall, however, to earn their second consecutive shutout. In particular, Thomas Hoffmann at outside back didn’t get beat all night and frequently got forward to support the attack.
