No. 5 Concord 2, No. 4 Bedford 1 (Concord wins, 5-4, on PKs)

Key players: Concord – Mary Martinson (G), Ashley Plante, Sydney Plante, Katherine Potter, Allison Yanski and Chloe Morgan (all scored in penalty kicks), Autumn Nudd (saved penalty kick for the win)

Highlights: The Tide carried the momentum over from its first-round win to outlast Bedford on penalty kicks. The Bulldogs scored 20 minutes into the match, but Ashley Plante’s cross found Martinson who one-timed home the game-tying strike. With the game still undecided through two overtime periods, the Tide scored on five of its penalty kicks and Nudd stopped Bedford’s fifth attempt to send Concord through to the semis. The Tide will take on the top-seeded Exeter in Thursday’s semifinal at Stellos Stadium in Nashua at 6:15 p.m.
