Highlights: Stephens hit two free throws with no time on the clock to lift help the Spartans rally past Coe-Brown in their season-opener on Friday. Pembroke struggled against Coe-Brown’s press in the first half, but made the necessary adjustments in the second half and turned up the defensive intensity in the fourth quarter.

We came out in the second half with more composure and overcame a seven-point deficit to beat a tough Coe-Brown team.
