The city of Concord has issued a winter storm event parking ban for Monday night.
There will be no on-street parking on any street city-wide overnight Monday between midnight and 7 a.m. Tuesday.
The city needs cars to be off the street so that plows can clear snow off the road. Violators are subject to receiving a ticket and being towed by Concord Police’s Parking Division.
Free parking is available in the city garages from 7 p.m. Monday night until 8 a.m. Tuesday morning for permit or lease spaces (marked with signage) and until 9 a.m. for metered spaces.
City garages include the School Street Garage, State Street Garage, and Storrs Street Garage.
Penacook residents may park at the Canal Street Municipal Parking Lot at the corner of Village Street and Canal Street near Chief’s Restaurant. This lot is posted for no overnight parking, but the city will allow residents to park there during city-wide winter parking bans.
