Eva Sartwell always had her priorities straight. Around the year 2000, I was fortunate to go to a meeting at the State Employees Association. Eva was talking about problems with Medicare coverage. She said that she liked to be able to see. She said that she liked to be able to chew her food. And she said that she liked to be able to hear and that Medicare, at that time, did not cover care for eyes, teeth or hearing. Stated very simply and clearly.

She will be missed.
