Highlights: The Spartans and the Pride competed in the first ever New Hampshire Winter Track League team pentathlon, held on Sunday at UNH. Merrimack Valley’s top team finished 12th and Pembroke’s best team finished 14th out of 39 teams. Pembroke’s ‘B’ team also had a strong day, finishing 16th. Irving (tied third), Wall (seventh) and Palmer (ninth) finished in the top 10 of their individual events for their ‘A’ teams. Madisyn Garrity finished sixth in the 55 hurdles for the MV ‘B’ team.
