Gail and Bill Rider of Concord announce the engagement of their daughter, Molly Rider, to Hawkeye King, son of Frances Sholl and Gerry Lonning of Seattle, Wash., and Henry King and Jeannette Lakness King of Oakland, Calif.
Rider, of Berkeley, Calif., earned a bachelor’s degree from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in New York and is the design team program manager for Salesforce in San Francisco, Calif.
King, of Oakland, Calif., earned a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and a master’s degree in electrical engineering and a doctorate from the University of Washington. He works as a senior software engineer at Saildrone in Alameda, Calif.
A May 1, 2020, wedding is planned.
