■A food pantry bin is located outside the Salisbury Free Library for those in need. You may donate non-perishable foods (preferably canned goods that bears can’t smell) and take what you need. Neighbors helping neighbors is the Salisbury way. We will get through this together, Salisbury!

■Bread & Roses Soup Kitchen in Franklin has suspended dinners until further notice but is open every Monday and Thursday night from 4-5 p.m. The soup kitchen has brown bags with breads and desserts every Monday and Thursday, meats on Mondays and produce or dairy on Thursdays. No questions asked and first come first served. People can come up the handicapped ramp on the side since only two people can enter the kitchen at a time. The staff wear gloves! If there are two people already inside the building, the handicapped ramp is covered and very private that people can stay under to wait keeping social distancing in mind. WEBSTERDonate to pantry

■Many people have asked how they can help their neighbors during this time. One way is to drop off donations for the Webster Food Pantry in the lobby of the Webster Police Department Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Right now the pantry is looking for healthy food, mayonnaise, salad dressings, BBQ sauce, shelf-stable milk, soap, toothpaste and toiletries. Please do not bring homemade or expired food. The next time you go grocery shopping, pop one of these items in your basket and drop off your donations on the way home. The NH Food Bank has been receiving fewer donations from grocery stores, which affects many food pantries. If you would prefer to give a monetary donation, you can send your check to the Webster Food Pantry, 1011 Long Street, Webster, NH 03303.  If you have any questions or need to access the pantry, call Peg Foss at 568-2526.

■During this time of self-isolation, we hear a lot about people feeling lonely and abandoned. If you have a neighbor, give them a call to see how they are doing and if they need anything.  Webster is a small town made up of people who care about others, especially now.

■The Conservation Commission has canceled the roadside clean up this year, but once we have been given the all clear signal, grab a bag and gloves, and clean up your road. Keep Webster beautiful.

■Just a reminder the library has Wi-Fi that can be accessed from your car and no password is necessary.

■Take care, neighbors.
