A daughter, Evelyn Vera Emmons, was born May 5 in Topanga, Calif., to Grace and Ryan Emmons. The 7 pound, 12 oz. baby was born at home with assistance from midwives and aunts Madeline and Alison Hirshan. Grandparents Adam and Elaine Hirshan of Gilford and Robert and Christine Emmons of Santa Barbara, Calif.
