These oil paintings by John Stark Regional High School students were created by Ms. Smart’s Advanced Drawing and Painting students and is their first oil painting.
The students studied oil paint techniques, brushwork, and in-depth color theory and were able to have group critiques and feedback throughout the process in Google Meet virtual classes. Some students used online references to create their painting while others worked from real life.
