I wanted to write a letter of support for Dan Feltes as governor as I have met him twice and he is someone who is not only a terrific guy but he really cares about helping people and working to make government help people.
I have thought about my children and what it’s like to have role models to follow. I think President Trump’s foul mouth, racist social media, and bullying tactics have shocked the country. He has shown us just how divisive and immoral one person can make politics.
I want a leader in office who children can look up to, and if we can’t get that in the White House we at least deserve it in the State House.
Dan grew up in a working-class family like many of us. His dad worked for four decades in the same factory, his mom working part-time jobs. Dan had to work his way through college and law school to pay student loans. He worked for N.H. Legal Assistance helping workers, veterans, and low-income families. He truly has been a great example as a man in government.
I also want to mention he promotes common-sense gun control and an increase in the minimum wage, two issues that are of concern to me.
I hope you will join me in voting for him this fall.
