Experience counts at the Executive Council, and I am proud to support Cinde Warmington.
Cinde’s career as a health care attorney will make her a formidable councilor and an effective voice for all Granite Staters. She will excel at the important role the council plays in reviewing state contracts and be a strong advocate on policy issues from education to health care to climate change. Cinde understands the serious threat women’s reproductive rights are facing and will confirm judges who will uphold our rights.
When it comes to women’s health care and the right to choose, hundreds of laws are being passed across the country, from unreasonable requirements for providers, to intimidating notice and counseling laws, to defunding of women’s health clinics. These are the kind of laws that are likely to come before the New Hampshire Supreme Court. These are the incremental changes that will take away women’s reproductive freedom little by little and why judicial appointments receive such scrutiny.
We need an executive councilor who understands how state legislatures and courts are strategically limiting access to women’s health care and right to choose. A councilor who appreciates the power of our state court judges to strike down or uphold these restrictive policies and laws.
So, please, when you vote for Executive Council, be sure your vote goes to a candidate who understands the complexity of the issues at stake and is willing to stand up for women’s health. Cinde Warmington will do just that.
