Music is back on the patio this fall at Gould Hill Farm. Carriage rides are here again, but limited to one family/group at a time. Gould Hill Farm is taking extra steps to follow COVID restrictions. Masks are required in the store, and please practice social distancing in the orchard. Come up for apple picking and the panoramic views and stick around for great live music and a flight of cider on the patio. The October music schedule is Alex Cohen on Oct. 3, Justin Cohn on Oct. 4, Dwayne Haggins on Oct. 10, April Cushman on Oct. 11 and Ryan Williamson on Oct. 12. All shows are 1 to 4 p.m. and family-friendly.
On Tuesday, Sept. 29, professional artist and art instructor Thomas Hitchcock, a member of the Lakes Region Art Association/Gallery, will begin teaching six, 2-hour weekly drawing sessions at the LRAA/Gallery studio, evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. The LRAA/Gallery and studio is located in the Tanger Mall Outlet, 120 Laconia Road, Tilton, suite 132.
Classes are open to anybody regardless of age. His classes will focus on the fundamentals of drawing to include perspective, composition, values, form and techniques. To register, call 496-6768. The Lakes Region Art Association/Gallery, is a non-profit 501-C-3 organization dedicated to promoting art, providing a venue for its members to display their art and photography, and an opportunity to sell what they’ve created, directly to the public at wholesale pricing.
