■The Supervisors of the Checklist will hold a session for correction of the checklist on Wednesday at the Town Office at 5 p.m. This will be the final date to register to vote prior to election day. There will be in-person registration at the election on Nov. 3. Please bring photo ID, proof of Dunbarton residence and wear a mask.
■The Towns of Bow and Dunbarton will hold a Household Hazardous Waste Day & Electronics Collection on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bow Department of Public Works on 12 Robinson Road, Bow. ■Library news: Read to Dogs Virtually through the library. Kids in grades 1-4 who register will have a 15-minute virtual session with a dog. The next sessions are Nov. 5 between 3-4 p.m. with Lily the dog and her handler Liz. Contact the library to reserve your spot. ■American Legion Post 81 will host a free spaghetti dinner for veterans and their families on Veteran’s Day, Nov. 11 from 4-7 p.m. in the Event Center, 169 Bound Tree Road, Contoocook.
