It’s disturbing that doubts and fears are being circulated around our democratic institutions and election procedures.
It would be refreshing if both news media and the candidates themselves could refrain from declaring winners and losers until all the votes have been counted and certified by our hard-working (thank you!) election officials.
In any case, the rest of us can choose to remain calm and centered. We can refrain from reacting to premature questionable results coming to us from the media, who will be seeking clicks and eyeballs, and from the candidates themselves.
