■The Garden Club is still accepting donations of new pajamas and books through its annual Pajama Project which will run through the end of November. The pajamas and books collected this year will be distributed to Family Promise of Greater Concord and Friends, families receiving assistance through Bow Human Services and Friends of Forgotten Children in Penacook, which also serves the greater Concord area. Collection boxes are now in place in the entryways of the Baker Free Library and the Bow Parks & Rec Dept. Donations can also be given to any Bow Garden Club member. ■In lieu of the Bow Rotary Club’s Scholarship Auction, the club is holding a cash raffle in hopes of raising enough money to fund at least a few the scholarships usually awarded. The raffle has three cash prizes: $1,250 for first prize, $500 for second and $250 for third. Tickets are one for $5 or 5 for $20 and are available for purchase at Merrimack County Savings Bank (Bow branch), through any Bow Rotary member and at bowrotary.org. ■A customer drive-thru for the Bow Garden Club’s Poinsettia Sale will be on Dec. 5 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Bow Community Center, 3 Bow Center Road. Pre-ordered poinsettias will be brought out to your car by a garden club member who will be masked and gloved.

■The DCC is having its annual Wreatsh Sale. Order by Monday at first-congregational-church-of-dunbarton.square.site. A 22-inch undecorated wreath is $13, a 22-inch decorated wreath is $25 and a 48-inch barn wreath is $50. Orders may be picked up at the Church Vestry on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon and on Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Special pick up arrangements may be coordinated by emailing Mike Shearin at mshearin@gsinet.net. The church supports only local N.H. vendors. Your support benefits their many community missions and ministries.
■Town Office hours will be 8 a.m. to noon on Wednesday. There is no school on Wednesday for Teacher Workshop Day. Town offices are closed and there is no school on Thursday and Friday.
■Transfer Station holiday hours are Wednesday from 12-6 p.m. Saturday will be regular hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
■Members of the Dunbarton Police Department will be participating in Special Olympics New Hampshire’s Virtual Braver Together Torch Run. Participating officers will be logging how many miles they walk and/or run from Nov. 26 through Dec. 31 while wearing their Braver Together swag. ■As the days get cooler, the Hopkinton Town Library will continue to offer Family Story Times outside. Bundle up, grab a blanket to sit on, and join the fun! ■The Bill Koch League Nordic Ski Program is open for registrations. The mission of the Bill Koch League is to introduce children to cross-country skiing in a fun and supportive environment. It is run by Hopkinton’s Blackwater Nordic Ski Club and is open to all children in grades 1-8. Practices will be held after school on Tuesdays and Fridays at the Fairgrounds and some Sunday afternoons at Pat’s Peak. Skiers do not need to attend all practices. Registration is required and equipment is not provided. Some rental equipment is available. There will be COVID-19 safety policies to adhere to.
