s I want to thank the Biden administration for taking the initiative to place 400 lights around the Lincoln Memorial in a fitting tribute to the 400,000 American lives that have been lost due to COVID-19. This past year it has often felt that the enormity of our country’s losses have been left unrecognized by our government. To see it in full display through the beauty of lights around the reflecting pool offered an acknowledgment of all that we have lost and provided some much-needed solace in these trying times.
