Winter Fest is returning downtown Friday and Saturday on the lawn of the State House hosted by Intown Concord and Hotel Concord. Spectators will be able to watch ice-carving demonstrations crafted by five of New England’s most talented carvers on Friday starting at 3 p.m., followed by a competition on Saturday at 11 a… Carvings will be judged by a distinguished panel of local judges and winners will be announced Saturday at 4 p.m. The Hotel Concord will award prizes to the top three carvers plus a People’s Choice Award.

Ice carving demonstrations are free and open to the public. Games and activities will include the Princesses from Party Palace, cornhole, s’mores, hot cocoa, and music provided by Capital City Audio. Attendees will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing throughout the event.

Concord’s unique boutiques and restaurants will welcome shoppers and diners looking to warm up after a winter shopping stroll with special deals, cocktails, and other offerings. Parking is available in the covered garage located in the Capital Commons Parking Garage accessed via Storrs Street.
