Why did you allow Monitor staff member Teddy Rosenbluth to report unfounded vaccine recommendations from David Topham, professor of immunology at the University of Rochester? His recommendations may be all well and good for existing and known vaccines, but the new COVID-19 vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna were only recently developed and approved by the FDA only with Emergency Use Authorization with just preliminary case studies.

Both Pfizer and Moderna have not wavered from their 21- to 28-day window for the second dose efficacy. Any variations or differences are untested and have zero clinical evidence of efficacy – at least for now.

This article and the professor’s misguided suggestions will be very confusing for those receiving the vaccines. You need to post a follow-up article clarifying that article’s misleading direction.
