The Ladies Philoptochos of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 68 North State St., Concord, is hosting a Greek Pastry Sale for your convenience. Order yours now. Selections include Baklava (phyllo with a sweet walnut and cinnamon filling) for $2 a piece; Spanakopita (Spinach Pie) for $3 per piece; Koulourakia (Greek butter cookies) for $3 for a bag of 6; andย a Mixed Pastry Box including 2 Kourambiedes (sugar coated vanilla cookies), 2 Baklava, 2 Finikia (Greek spice cookies), and 2 Pasta Flora (jam on a pastry bottom) for $15 per box. Join Nick Scheu, landscape director, or Simon Parsons, education director, at The Fells property on April 1 at 11 a.m. These informal, moderate walks will be an opportunity to get a little exercise, spend time out in the landscape, and learn something new about the gardens and the home once owned by the John Hay family.
