■Tax preparation, which was formerly done at the TRIP Center and Franklin Parks & Recreation Department, is now being done remotely due to COVID-19 restrictions. It is still free for individuals/couples with an annual income of less than $56,844. Go to nhtaxhelp.org or call 211 to make arrangements to connect with this free service.
■Franklin Parks & Recreation Summer Camp will run June 21 through Sept. 3 for kids who have completed grades K-8. Offerings include mountain biking, paddle board lessons, swimming lessons and kayaking at Webster Lake; plus tennis, soccer, Franklin Area Children’s Theatre and more! Register through the Parks & Recreation tab at franklinnh.org. You can create an account and register for programs.
■Franklin Parks & Recreation is looking for seasonal workers for its summer programs. Students entering grade 9 in the fall (or older) can enroll in the Counselor in Training Program. The program runs from July 1 through Aug. 30. Details available at franklinnh.org.
