■The Friends of Forgotten Children food pantry located at 224 Bog Road in Concord serves 23 towns in Merrimack County. The pantry is open on Thursdays from 9-11:15 a.m. and 12-7 p.m. A household can come once a month for food. During COVID-19, the pantry is not verifying income eligibility. First time clients should bring proof of residency for each member of the household. Clients do not come into the building. Call 753-4801 upon arrival and someone will take your information and bring your food outside. There is also a clothing pantry.

■The City of Concord’s spring leaf collection is planned to begin April 26 and run through June 5. Concord residents who currently participate in the curbside trash collection program are eligible for the spring leaf collection program. Materials are collected weekly for several weeks and must be curbside by 7 a.m. on the same day as your regular trash is collected. Residents have two options for pick-up: 1) yard waste is placed curbside in paper yard waste bags which are available at local stores or 2) yard waste is placed curbside in 30-gallon barrels weighing less than 50 pounds clearly marked as “yard waste.” No plastic bags containing yard waste will be collected.For more information, visit concordnh.gov/leafcollection.

■The Concord Public Library children’s program is offering Virtual Storytime: April Showers on Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Join the librarians for music and stories on Zoom. Register at concordnh.gov or call 225-8670 for more assistance.

■The menu has been set for the April 25 Greek Dinner to Go from Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (68 North State St.) with pick up from 12-1 p.m. This month’s offering is a traditional Palm Sunday dinner of baked haddock, rice pilaf, vegetable and a dinner roll. You can pay online, send in a check to the church or bring the money when you pick up your food. The cutoff to order is April 21.

■Learn how to turn memories into manuscripts in this fun class on Tuesdays through May 4 at 1:45 p.m. Using a variety of activities, Gail Schilling will help you to say what you really mean, easily and accurately. Though this class will be geared toward those new to written self-expression, experienced writers will find the activities and camaraderie stimulating. Gail published her own memoir, “Do Not Go Gentle. Go to Paris: Travels of an Uncertain Woman of a Certain Age” in 2019. Cost is $40. You must register by Monday at noon.
