■Bob Rutherford will perform at the Farmer’s Market on Thursday at 5 p.m., sponsored by the Franklin Opera House and Watts Water Technologies. Bob is a virtuoso guitarist, entertainer, and singer. Bring a blanket or folding chairs. Food is available from Buffy the Hot Dog Slinger and Vulgar Brewery. The Farmer’s Market runs from 3-6 p.m.

■The Franklin High School Classes of 1970 and 1971 are sharing a celebration of their reunions this year. The combined event will be held on Sept. 18 at the Elks Lodge on South Main Street in Franklin from 4:30-9:30 p.m. Advance registration is required for attendance and the deadline for registration is Aug. 18.
